I have to tell you that my life has changed completely since we saw each other that magical night. Yes, I know it sounds cliché, like the usual stuff. I know I was married before, and that my life was completely tedious, more boring than turning on the television and waiting for something, or someone, to change your life in some way.
But your appearance achieved that, and much more. That magical Friday, laughing, talking, looking at the stars with my old telescope, and playing with the waves of the sea, I understood that magic is not waiting for a miracle to happen; magic is letting yourself be carried away by the miracle of your blue and clear gaze, like the sea you kissed that night.
Tonight I’ll wait for you again. I’ll wait for you at nightfall. Because I want to share the stars with you again. For many, life begins when the sun rises. For me, it begins when it sets. Because it is then, and only then, that I feel you are near. Come back. Let us be, once again, a heart in search of stars…
The night my life changed forever.
Young people dream of many things: their musical idols, their favorite actors, their parties and dances… All of that is fantastic, and I recognize that youth is worth enjoying.
But I was different. I was a taciturn boy, it’s true. Distracted, melancholic, solitary, my mind was always focused on the latest astronomical discovery, the next space voyage, the new star in the sky. My mother, a physicist and expert in radio astronomy signals, was largely responsible for that. But I didn’t need much motivation for my interest in cosmology, planets, and galaxies to awaken each night, under the watchful gaze of my small telescope.
It was one of those nights in the winter of 1991 when, listening to radio signals, I discovered something. A surprising and incredible fact that would change my life forever. And give a new perspective to my view of the universe.

Sandra and Alice live in hiding in France, leading a life that revolves around secrecy. Alice is a criminal expert in cyberterrorism wanted by the Global Security Agency. Even less information is available about Sandra, her companion.
