Note: Work in progress.
Angels and demons, your partners in ruling the universe.
Your angels and demons are your tools in the game. They are beings who have died, chosen from the best according to your personal criteria, and given a spiritual body. Of course, to hire them, you have to pay them a fair wage. The game’s currency is called Souler, the currency used in the afterlife. And Soulers move heaven and earth. Without Soulers, there is no future for the universe.
Abilities of angels and demons.
Note: I will refer to angels and demons as “entities.” I was going to call them agents, but that would be reminiscent of AI agents, and I preferred to use entities to avoid confusion.
With that said, let’s get to it.

Soulers.

First and foremost, you must understand the concept of Soulers. They are the standard currency of the afterlife. Without Soulers, your cause is lost. All activity requires Soulers, and your entities, whether angels or demons, will not work for you if they don’t receive their Souler payment on time.
In addition, entities generate Soulers for every task assigned to them. A portion of those profits goes to the entity, and another portion goes to you. The higher the percentage you give the entity—whether it’s an angel or a demon—the better it will perform. The lower the percentage, the worse it will perform. Be careful not to underpay your entities, or you could run into trouble, especially if their corruption level is medium or high.
Energy.
The other fundamental element of the game is the energy of your entities. Angels and demons require energy to carry out their tasks. The higher their level, the less energy they require, but they always need energy. Remember that your entities can only recover energy in temples, unless you research the creation of a temple in the city where your entity is located. In that case, the entity will not lose energy.
What are skills, or abilities?
I will use skills or abilities in this text. They are the same thing.
People live. During their lives, they develop different skills and, in general, qualities. Some are spiritual, others physical, others practical. All of them define a human being.
When a person dies, their soul does not go to heaven or hell, at least not directly. They pass into a special chamber, where they await their fate. At that moment, your opportunity to recruit your best entities arrives. You have a screen at your disposal where the souls of the recently deceased arrive. This screen gives you the essential information about each person: their attributes, their qualities.
Choose the best soul.
You must choose the souls that interest you most to recruit them for your cause, whether that cause is to save humanity or to destroy it completely. Obviously, depending on your objectives, some souls will be more suitable than others, as we will see.
Be careful: souls arrive, but they also leave. Choose the souls that interest you based on their attributes. Remember that each soul must be hired by paying in Soulers.
Soulers are the currency of the afterlife. Don’t think that souls, simply because they are dead, won’t want to be paid. The afterlife has a currency: the Souler. And souls want to be paid to carry out their activities. Don’t run out of Soulers, or you will have to start taking out loans at high interest rates.
The chosen souls are ready to be endowed with a spiritual body. This body also has its own qualities. I call this spiritual body an avatar. By combining the qualities of the soul and the avatar, you will have your entity ready.
An entity can dedicate itself to a maximum of two tasks at a time, but then its potential will be halved. If you only dedicate one task to it, it will dedicate itself to it one hundred percent. You must choose at each moment what interests you most.
Before going into the abilities, let’s look at different tasks that angels and demons can carry out, and then understand how these abilities affect those tasks.
Tasks for angels and demons.
We are now going to see the tasks your entities will be able to develop while in a city. They are:
Conversions of humans.
A quick way to obtain Soulers is to attract the city’s humans to your cause. Furthermore, a city with many followers on your side (whether Heaven or Hell, depending on your choice) will be a more powerful city, better able to serve you. And, very importantly, it will generate more Soulers for you.
Profession:
What profession had the soul when alive.
Every person had a profession before they died. That profession defines certain characteristics of the soul. Professions don’t have a score for the entities’ skills, but they do serve to increase or decrease those skills.
The possible professions and their influence on skills are:
Profession and how they affect tasks in the city, as well as combat and energy.
Improvement values range from -20% to 20%. That is, keep in mind that there are professions that not only don’t improve a specific task, but also make the angel or demon less efficient.
Note: the values assigned to professions are for guidance only and in no way indicate the positive or negative aspects of a profession. Remember: this is a video game.
Note 2: values are percentages. For example Teacher +20 indicates +20%.

The abilities of angels and demons are shown below.
Soul skills (abilities).
Ethics.
Ethics represents the commitment of the entities under your control. Keep in mind something very important: if you play as Heaven, you’ll generally want your entities to have high ethics. Conversely, if you play as Hell, you’ll want them to have minimal ethics. An angel will follow the path of respect and empathy, while a demon will use their lack of ethics to their advantage, carrying out all kinds of violent and destructive acts.
If you play as Heaven and fire a soul with low ethics, or if you play as Hell with very high ethics, the soul will not only be incompetent in carrying out your orders, but may betray you and defect to the opposing side. Or worse: it may remain under your command but provide information to the opposing side.
Very important: Angels and demons start at level 1. As their level increases, it will directly affect the qualities explained below, improving them proportionally. Levels increase with each achievement obtained after assigning them a task or mission.
How ethics affects:
- Human conversions: This is the second most important quality after morality. High ethics will attract many humans to convert to Heaven’s cause. Conversely, low ethics will allow demons to lure humans to Hell. That’s why choosing the right level of ethics is crucial.
- Search for enemy entities : has no effect.
- City services: high or low ethics provide greater motivation for angels and demons, increasing their effect.
- City outskirts : high or low ethics provide greater motivation for angels and demons, increasing their effect.
- Attention to the citizens: this is the second determining factor in how human beings are treated, after morality. Angels with high ethics will fight tirelessly to save any human being in danger. Demons must have a minimum of ethics to be able to torment the innocent citizens around them.
- Business in the city: similar to the previous one, although in this case ethics will take precedence over morality.
- Temple construction in the city: it has no impact.
- Combat: a high ethical standard will prevent the use of aggressive combat techniques, but will allow the use of other, more refined and clean techniques, which are often more effective.
Moral.
Morality functions similarly to ethics, but in matters related to human beings. While ethics works best with physical elements, morality is more applicable to human beings. For example, high ethics will allow for better defense of a city from any danger, while high morality will allow for better defense of the citizens of that city.
How morality affects:
- Human conversions: This is the first and most important quality for this task. High morale will attract many humans to Heaven’s cause. Conversely, low morale will allow demons to lure humans to Hell. That’s why choosing the right morale level is crucial.
- Search for enemy entities : has no effect.
- City services: High or low morale provides greater motivation for angels and demons, increasing their impact. It’s important, although ethics are more so.
- City outskirts : high or low morale provides greater motivation for angels and demons, increasing their effect.
- Attention to the citizens: this is the primary determining factor in how to treat human beings, even above ethics. Angels with high morals will fight to the death to save any human in danger. Demons must possess a minimum of morality to be able to torment the innocent citizens around them. Important: morality helps or destroys citizens, but it can be so powerful that it destroys your angels or demons. Do not put too much pressure on them by having them help or persecute humans.
- Business in the city: similar to the previous one, although in this case morality will be below ethics.
- Building a temple in the city has no effect on demons. For angels, a strong moral compass will be very useful in constructing temples.
- Combat: has no effect.
Compassion.
Compassion measures the capacity to save people who have suffered due to the enemy’s influence. For example, a compassionate angel might try to help a person, a business, a city service, or anyone else who has been ensnared by a demon, so that they can be redeemed. Low compassion will make it easier for a demon to ensnare individuals who have been ensnared by an angel.
How compassion affects:
- Human conversions: compassion is more important the closer the converted human was to the enemy’s side. For example, if you manage angels, and the human had little to no morals or ethics, conversion will help bring that human to your side. The same applies to demons, although a demon’s compassion is to convert any human to their cause at any cost. They will “take pity” on the human’s desire to join Hell, and the demon’s compassion will be crucial to achieving this.
- Search for enemy entities : has no effect.
- City services: no impact.
- City Outskirts : Compassion will have a cumulative effect, similar to converting humans, helping to improve the city’s surroundings, the land, fields, crops, and the plants and animals in the area. High levels of compassion in demons will help them destroy and wipe out those fields, crops, and the plants and animals in the city’s vicinity.
- Citizen attention: similar to human conversions, citizen attention will be enhanced by compassion, using the same model.
- Business in the city: it also has a cumulative effect, either improving businesses in the city or driving them to total ruin.
- Temple construction in the city: it has no impact.
- Combat: Greater compassion will give the enemy a chance to surrender. Low compassion will often lead to the enemy’s extermination. Consider taking prisoners; they may provide important information.
Wrath.
Wrath is, in many ways, the other side of compassion, and it is the force that motivates angels and demons to fight against their adversaries.
How wrath affects:
- Human conversions: wrath reduces human conversion among angels and increases it among demons. Great wrath causes angels to renounce their interest in converting humans to their cause. Whereas, for demons, great wrath encourages them to convert more humans to their cause.
- Searching for enemy entities : This is the fundamental element for angels and demons. In both cases, great wrath will serve as the driving force to find enemy entities in the city, in order to control them and, if necessary, destroy them, or at least expel them from the city.
- City services: A high level of wrath will help demons in their task of destroying the city’s basic infrastructure, while angels with minimal wrath will better protect those services.
- City outskirts : same behavior as human conversions.
- Citizens attention: Angels with great wrath will be less able to help citizens, and, conversely, demons with great wrath will be very good at attacking citizens to destroy them.
- Businesses in the city: same behavior as with customer service.
- Temple construction in the city: a great wrath will be essential in both cases to build the temple.
- Combat: wrath has a direct effect on combat. High wrath will lead to very aggressive fighting. While this may seem advantageous, excessive aggression can lead to mistakes in combat.
Corruption.
Corruption will always be a problem for you, whether you’re dealing with angels or demons. Corruption means your entities won’t operate as you expect, and they might even betray you. Remember, though, that paying your angels or demons better will reduce corruption. Pay them poorly, and you’ll see it skyrocket. Some avatars are more prone to corruption than others, but conversely, they’re also more efficient. Finding the right balance is key in each case.
One important thing to keep in mind is that, if you come into contact with an enemy entity, and its level of corruption is very high, you can pay it money to come to your service, or better yet, if you don’t trust it, to complicate things for your adversary.
How corruption affects:
- Human conversions: the more corrupt, the more chaotic. It’s possible for a corrupt entity, whether angel or demon, to convert the city’s humans to the opposite side. This is, of course, quite worrying. Therefore, keep a close eye on how these conversions are handled, lest you lose humans to your cause instead of gaining them.
- Searching for enemy entities : A corrupted entity may spend more time in the afterlife bar than searching for enemy entities.
- City services: This has no clear effect. It will not usually take your assigned task into account.
- City outskirts : This has no clear effect. It will not usually take your assigned task into account.
- Attention to citizens: same situation as with human conversions.
- Business in the city: it has no effect or may create chaos in some cases.
- Temple construction in the city: If other agents are already building the temple, you can focus on destroying it. Not exactly ideal for your objectives.
- Combat: Corruption can have a strange effect on combat: some entities may want to betray you, while others may want to exploit the enemy and will fight with far greater power than normal. Decide whether you trust your angel or demon based on their previous behavior.
Confidence.
Confidence is fundamental for an organization. If it has a high level of confidence, you can count on that agent to perform any task you assign them with great dedication. Confidence will significantly enhance their work . But what if corruption is also high? Then it will be the opposite: they will work even better, but for the enemy. Therefore, what you want in this case is high confidence with low corruption. However, if you find an enemy agent who, in addition to high corruption, also has high confidence, then it will be even more advantageous for them to work for you. They will be easily corrupted, and you will also be able to trust the organization.
How does confidence affect:
- Human conversions: boost the conversion rate.
- Searching for enemy entities : if wrath is high, confidence will further enhance the search for enemy entities.
- City services: will enhance this task.
- City outskirts : will enhance this task.
- Citizen attention: will enhance this task.
- Businesses in the city: this task will be enhanced.
- Temple construction in the city: this will enhance this task.
- Combat: Confidence will help your entity in combat, improving its style and capabilities.
Imagination.
Imagination allows one to find quick solutions to assigned missions. It also allows, in combat against enemy entities, the application of optimal solutions to achieve victory or, at least, to escape more easily in case of defeat.
How imagination affects:
- Human conversions: no effect.
- Enemy entity search : focuses on the ability to develop upgrades to search for enemies.
- City services: no impact.
- City outskirts : no impact.
- Attention to citizens: just like the conversion, no effect.
- Businesses in the city: no impact.
- Temple construction in the city: significantly helps to accelerate construction.
- Combat : allows you to improve your capabilities and especially your combat tactics.
Intelligence.
Intelligence is a fundamental ability for interacting with the city, its services, businesses, and residents. It allows your angels or demons to multiply their assigned tasks very effectively.
How intelligence affects:
- Human conversions: expands conversion capacity.
- Enemy entity search : allows for a much faster search.
- City services: allows you to protect, or destroy, the city’s basic services.
- City outskirts : allows for better development of agriculture, fauna and flora, or for their much more systematic destruction.
- Attention to citizens: allows for improved treatment of humans in order to help them, or to exterminate them.
- Business in the city: It makes businesses grow much faster, or drives them into bankruptcy.
- Temple construction in the city: significantly improves construction speed.
- Combat: better use of cunning and tactics for a sure victory.
Soldier.
The Soldier stat only has effects in combat and in search operations. If an enemy has a high Soldier stat, and your angel or demon has a low one, it’s best to leave that task to someone else. Remember, Soldiers can be improved very effectively in training camps for angels or demons. But nothing beats real combat for your entity to improve. If your angel or demon’s profession in life was Soldier, then you have the perfect formula for the ultimate killing machine of the afterlife.
How the soldier affects:
- Human conversions: no effect.
- Search for enemy entities : great increment of power while searching for enemies.
- City services: no impact.
- City outskirts : no impact.
- Attention citizens: there is no impact.
- Businesses in the city: no impact.
- Temple construction in the city: it has no impact.
Spiritual touch.
Spiritual Touch doesn’t directly interact with any specific task. However, a high Spiritual Touch can offer an opportunity to enhance certain activities. For example, in combat, a high Spiritual Touch can turn a defeat into an opportunity to flee, and a victory can grant the victorious entity more resources in the form of energy and a level increase. A low Spiritual Touch will have no negative effects; it simply won’t influence any task or combat.
How the spiritual touch affects:
- Human conversions: You can expand the conversions.
- Searching for enemy entities : could allow a hidden enemy entity to be found sooner.
- City services: will protect, or destroy, city services more quickly.
- City Outskirts : will protect, or destroy, the city outskirts more quickly.
- Pay attention to the citizens: it will protect, or destroy, the citizens of the city more quickly.
- Businesses in the city: will protect, or destroy, businesses in the city faster.
- Temple construction in the city: can help finish the temple faster.
Special abilities.
For info about special abilities take a look here.
Levels.
Angels and demons start at level 1, and that level increases as they complete the various tasks you assign them. How does that translate into their abilities?
- In combat, higher levels increase their fighting ability.
- In terms of energy, it allows them to perform the same tasks while consuming less energy.
- And when it comes to tasks, it allows them to finish those tasks more quickly.
- Level 1-3: increase capacities by 1x.
- Level 4-7: increase capacities by 1.1x.
- Level 8-12: increase capacities by 1.2x.
- Level 13-16: increase capacities by 1.3x.
- Level 17-20: increase capacities by 1.4x.
- Level 21-24: increase capacities by 1.5x.
- Level 25-30: increase capacities by 1.8x.
- Level 25-40: increase capacities by 2x.
- Level 41-50: increase capacities by 2.2x.
- Level >51: increase capacities by 2.5x.
Energy.
Energy is required for every task. Higher levels will require less energy. Having a temple built in the city will further reduce energy consumption. But it is always necessary.
Remember that energy is fully replenished at temples outside the city, and that energy units can be found along the roads between cities.
Energy is everything to your angel or demon. If their energy runs out, goodbye to your entity. Don’t worry, you’ll receive a warning and a monitoring window to keep an eye on entities whose energy falls below 40%.
